Wang/Snow not done?

A source close to the New York Islanders management has said that that GM Garth Snow is about to make a splash. He is very interested in Dan Hamhuis and Nikolai Zherdev, and has phoned both of their respective teams about their availabilty. Doug McLean has refused any offers for Zherdev, but GM David Poile is listening to any offers. Also, keep an eye on the remaining free agents.

Canucks GM Dave Nonis will most likely find a backup goalie on the waiver wire. He is waiting for other teams to waive their extra goalies. Some of the names that have been mentioned are Brent Krahn and Mikael Tellqvist.
