The Anaheim Ducks have re-signed forward Ryan Getzlaf to an 8-year, $66 million contract extension.  Brochu's take:  So much for a hometown discount.  The Ducks overpaid but they really had no choice.  And just when you think NHL owners have learned something from the lockout, this contract clearly shows they have learned nothing.
