Peter Bondra is very close to signing a one-year deal with Detroit. He has been practising with the Red Wings for the last few days. Also, former first rounder Boyd Devereaux has been invited to the Wing's training camp as a tryout. Devereaux has won a Stanley Cup with Detroit in 2002.
