Sergei Brylin to Columbus?
According to a Columbus source, there are talks going on between the New Jersey Devils and the Columbus Blue Jackets. A deal could involve Brylin moving to Columbus for Dan Fritsche and a draft pick. This would be no more than a salary dump for New Jersey, as they are trying to get room to fit Brian Gionta, Paul Martin and David Hale into the lineup before opening day.

There have been a lot of talk between the two teams. This is just one of many deals being discussed. I would expect something to happen before the end of the pre-season.
This wouldnt surprise me....Most of the talk is centering around Brylin and Madden being moved...Even if we do get Mogilny's salary lifted from the cap, we still need to move another player
