Grabovski to Russia?

Montreal Canadiens prospect Mikhail Grabovski is rumoured to be headed back to Russia after his contract expires this season. He is a RFA, and could become a chip in the trading market in the summer for GM Bob Gainey. It's possible that Grabovski could be playing in the new Russian league KHL (Kontinetal Hockey League). The New York Islanders have signed forward Jesse Joensuu to a 3-year, entry level contract that will start in the 2008-2009 season. The Finnish forward finished his season at Assat Pori of the Finnish Elite League where he led his team with 17 goals with 18 assists for 35 points in 56 games. Source

The Colorado Avalanche have placed defenseman Jeff Jillson on re-entry waivers. However, it's unlikely he will be picked up by any team. Source
