Taratukhin signs in Russia?
According to hcsalavat.ru, Calgary Flames prospect Andrei Taratukhin has signed with Salavat Yulayev in the Russian Super League. A rough translation saids "Andrey Taratukhin became the player of salavata of yulayeva." It's rumoured to be a 3 year deal. The deal seems strange, as recently Taratukhin spoke that he was looking forward to trying out in Calgary and seemed determined to play in the NHL. Source

didn't they just loose another player to europe as well?
Yes, Mark Giordano also signed in Russia. However, Taratukhin remains on the Flames training camp roster. This contract may just be a backup in case Taratukhin doesn't make it with the Flames.
