The Blues have the 9th, 24th and 26th pick in the entry draft, and they may be willing to package all of them for a pick in the top 3. They are in need of offensive-minded players in their system.
According to the St. Louis columnist Jeff Gordon, the Blues may trade Dallas Drake, Dan Hinote, Bryce Salvador or Christian Backman. Backman is unlikely to garner interest, however Drake would be a wise pickup because of his experience. It is believed Vancouver, Ottawa and the Islanders have made inquiries. Source
