The Ottawa Senators have placed goalie Martin Gerber on waivers. In the likely event that he clears, he has two options: play for the AHL Binghamton Senators or play for a European club. I think he's headed for Europe. It's been too long since he played well for a stretch. I doubt anyone will take an interest.
