The Phoenix Coyotes have signed defenseman Adrian Aucoin to a 1-year, $2.5 million contract.
The Dallas Stars have signed defenseman Karlis Skrastins to a two-year, $2.75 million contract.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed forward Mikhail Grabovski to a 3-year, $8.7 million deal.
The Los Angeles Kings have signed defenseman Rob Scuderi to a 4-year, $13.6 million contract.
The Florida Panthers have signed defenseman Jordan Leopold to a 1-year, $1.75 million contract.
The Carolina Hurricanes have re-signed forward Chad LaRose to a 2-year, $3.4 million deal.
The Phoenix Coyotes have re-signed forward Stefan Meyer to a one-year deal.
The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed forward Kevin Westgarth to a three-year contract.
The New York Islanders have signed goaltender Scott Munroe, forward Jeremy Reich and defenseman Brett Westgarth to one-year, two-way contracts.

NHL and Hockey Rumors for June 20, 2009
According to Swedish newspaper Expressen, Daniel and Henrik Sedin have each tabled a 12-year, $63 million contract offer to the Vancouver Canucks. According to Darren Dreger of TSN, GM Mike Gillis has already rejected the offer. Brochu's take: I think the twins will hit the open market. And if they do, I don't think they will be re-signing with the Canucks.
The Miami Herald is also reporting that the Florida Panthers are "officially" shopping the rights to impending UFA Jay Bouwmeester. Brochu's take: There's a rumored list of teams he wants to be traded to, but at this point the Panthers will trade his rights to anyone who will give the highest package. Source

The St. Louis Blues have re-signed forward Keith Tkachuk to a one-year, $2.15 million contract.
The Colorado Avalanche and forward Cody McLeod have agreed to a three-year deal worth $3.1 million.

Phoenix pick up Meyer
The Phoenix Coyotes have picked up Freddy Meyer on waivers. This should free up cap space for the Islanders, who are expected to sign Bryan Berard shortly.
Jason Blake has been diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia. It's a highly treatable type of leukemia and should not affect his play with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Source
Nolan Baumgartner has been assigned to the minors by the Dallas Stars.

Forsberg update
Peter Forsberg has recovered from his recent surgery and is now practising with hometown team Modo. Forsberg feel no pressure to sign with any team, and want to be 100% before he even considers returning to play hockey full-time. Pierre McGuire of TSN has stated that the Swedish players on the Detroit Red Wings have really pushed for Forsberg to join them, but Forsberg still hasn't made up his mind.
Bryan Berard has not signed a contract with the New York Islanders, but is close to a contract. GM Garth Snow may try to trade one of their young defenseman, such as Freddy Meyer, to make room for Berard. There has been some speculation that the Boston Bruins may be involved. Source
Josef Melichar has signed with Linköpings HC in Sweden. Melichar had been playing with HC Ceské Budejovice in the Czech Republic, but it was only temporary as he was hoping he could sign with an NHL or bigger European team. Source
