The Canucks are definitely looking at the waiver wire for the solution to their backup goaltender problem, and they are very interested in Fred Brathwaite. He has an affordable salary, experience and is also a great team player. Another incentive for Brathwaite is that his brother Rod works for the Canucks organization at the Vancouver Canucks Centre for BC Hockey.
